Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEE Operator to manage the Multi Effect Evaporator (MEE) system at our plant in Bharuch, Gujarat. The MEE Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the evaporator system used in wastewater concentration and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) processes. This position plays a key role in our environmental compliance and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the MEE system, including feed pumps, evaporator vessels, condensers, ejectors, and crystallizers.
• Ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation of MEE for treating high TDS effluent.
• Monitor key operating parameters such as temperature, pressure, vacuum levels, flow rates, and system output.
• Perform regular checks and preventive maintenance of pumps, nozzles, piping, and instruments.
• Conduct cleaning operations like CIP (Clean-in-Place), flushing, and descaling to maintain system efficiency.
• Coordinate with the ETP and RO teams to manage inflow and outflow of wastewater streams.
• Log all operational parameters and maintain records of downtime, maintenance, and chemical consumption.
• Ensure MEE plant is operating within parameters as per GPCB and CPCB guidelines.
• Handle and dispose of solid waste/sludge generated from the process as per SOP.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and hygiene in the MEE area.
• Follow all EHS protocols, including the use of PPE, hazard communication, and emergency response procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:Education:

• ITI / Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in operating MEE systems, preferably in chemical, pharmaceutical, or dye industries

Skills & Knowledge:

• Good understanding of evaporator operations and waste concentration processes
• Familiar with mechanical equipment such as pumps, ejectors, condensers, and vacuum systems
• Knowledge of Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) operations is an advantage
• Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and perform basic maintenance
• Understanding of environmental compliance and safe handling of hazardous waste
• Ability to work in shifts and follow standard operating procedures

Pay: ₹11,336.16 - ₹50,790.01 per month
