Controls Testing & Assurance (CT&A) - Technology Testing AVP

Role Overview: The Controls Testing & Assurance (CT&A) department at DB focuses on Compliance and Financial Crime risks and related regulatory requirements critical for the Bank. As an AVP in the Technology Testing Team within CT&A, your role involves conducting testing on the design and effectiveness of IT controls managing Compliance and Financial Crime Risks globally. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to planning and execution of technology control testing projects across various areas of CT&A under the direction of the Head of CT&A Technology Testing. - Identify risks related to IT controls managing Compliance and Financial Crime Risks, determine root causes of issues, develop effective remediation plans, and escalate potential issues to senior management when necessary. - Ensure findings and recommendations are tracked in CT&A's issue tracker and follow up on open issues for proper resolution. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Technology Testing Team, Compliance, AFC, Business Divisional Control Officers, and Group Audit. Qualifications Required: - University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications like CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC are beneficial. - Knowledge of IT application controls auditing, IT risk management, and understanding of regulations governing financial institutions. - Strong communication, organizational, project management, and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workload, and articulate control deficiencies and related risks effectively.
