Job Description

As a Control-M Administrator with 8-12 years of experience, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - End to end administration and maintenance of BMC Control-M environment including enterprise manager, servers, database, agents, control modules, and other components. - Implementation of Control-M EM, Servers, Agents, CMs, and other components. - Defining strategy and executing the migration of jobs and associated data from market standard tools to Control-M. - Troubleshooting Control-M performance issues, outages, and opening support cases with stakeholders. In the technical aspect, you must have: - Experience in design, implementation, and support of BMC Control-M and its components. - Ability to troubleshoot incidents and outages related to Control-M EM, Servers, Agents, and other components. - Expertise in complex job scheduling and flow design. - Good understanding of Windows and Linux commands and operations. - Maintaining effective utilization of licenses. - Experience in handling upgrades of Control-M components such as EM, Server, Agents, CMs. - Ability to create operations documentation for maintaining the Control-M infrastructure and batch job flow. - Capability to train Control-M administrators, schedulers, and monitoring team. - Mentor the project team for delivery focus and timed decision making on complex situations. - Managing users, user groups, and role-based authorization. - Maintaining the repository of jobs and folders, managing WCM, Workflow insights, Control-M Self-service, batch impact manager. - Experience in onboarding new jobs, input added information, creating new dashboards, extraction of data from the Control-M database. - Maintaining the Control modules and account maintenance such as DB, AFT, MFT, and managing MQ queues. - Knowledge of Control-M API and customization. - Experience in handling LDAP integration and troubleshooting. - Report generation and customization via Control-M reporting facility. - Managing Incidents, RFC/CRs, Service requests, Problem and KEDB. Nice to have: - BMC Control-M Administration Certification. - Experience with databases. - Broad experience from either a development or operations perspective. - Experience working in ITSM tools and integration. Non-Technical skills required: - Analytical and critical thinking skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines. - ITIL 4 certification.
