Website Designer

contract-based opportunity

Responsibilities

  • Redesign and rebuild an existing website to reflect a modern, professional brand image.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and design layouts that enhance user experience and engagement.
  • Collaborate with our internal team to align design with company goals and content strategy.
  • Implement responsive, mobile-friendly layouts that perform well across all devices.
  • Optimize site structure for performance, accessibility, and SEO.
  • Oversee migration of existing content to the new site and ensure quality control before launch.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience designing and launching professional business websites.
  • Expertise in

    WordPress, Webflow, Wix, or similar platforms

    (no heavy coding required).
  • Solid understanding of

    UX/UI principles

    , navigation design, and responsive layouts.
  • Familiarity with

    SEO basics

    , page optimization, and modern design standards.
  • Strong visual design skills and attention to branding consistency.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently under deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience creating websites for

    IT, consulting, or professional service firms

  • Basic knowledge of
