SMC Agri Limited is a leading name in the frozen fruits and vegetables processing industry, with five years of experience in contract manufacturing of frozen green peas. This year, the company is expanding its product range to include a wide variety of frozen vegetables. Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, located in Amroha, is equipped with two high-capacity IQF lines for rapid freezing, extensive cold storage, and an advanced effluent treatment plant. At SMC Agri Limited, we prioritize quality, innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Contract Farming specialist at our facility in Amroha. The selected candidate will be responsible for organizing and managing contract farming operations, coordinating with farmers, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Additional responsibilities include monitoring crop health, conducting field visits, and ensuring timely procurement and processing of produce.

Qualifications

  • Experience in contract farming, agricultural management, and crop production
  • Knowledge of quality and safety standards in food processing
  • Ability to provide technical support and guidance to farmers
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agricultural software tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
  • Experience in a similar role or related field is a plus
