We are currently seeking a skilled Continental Chef who also specializes in healthy salads to join our kitchen team and co-create a menu that celebrates simplicity, sustainability, and nourishment. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of Continental dishes, especially pasta, sandwiches, and breakfast items. Create, plate, and serve a range of fresh salads using locally sourced ingredients. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and hygiene standards. Support daily kitchen operations, from prep to closing. Maintain inventory and assist in kitchen organization. Work collaboratively with a small team in a community-centric café environment. Innovate seasonal or themed menu items in alignment with The Farm Café’s values. Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Continental cook or chef. Proven skills in salad-making and handling fresh produce. Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices. Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced yet friendly café setting. Passion for sustainability, clean food, and creative cooking. Additional Details:Meals will be provided on-site.
