Continental Chef

SHOULD BE AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEW IN GOA

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes such as pastas, steaks, grills, soups, salads, and sauces.
• Ensure food preparation is done according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor portion control and minimize food wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the workstation at all times.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and supplies.
• Assist in planning and developing new continental menu items.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards as per hotel policy.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely food service during peak hours.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Continental Chef in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
• Culinary degree or professional chef training preferred.
• Good understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.
• Creativity and passion for food presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
• Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
