The Role (Content Writer and Strategist)

 

The Content Strategist will be an integral part of the content team, responsible for all copy and content produced for all our clients. The right candidate will be a big idea thinker and a highly skilled crafter of words who is flexible in writing for multiple clients in varying media.

  • Translating creative direction from creative briefs into engaging and effective ideas and content.
  • Collaborate closely with the Art team throughout pitch work, concept to design development, presentations, and execution.
  • Adhere to consistent use of language and strategies across multiple components of a campaign by demonstrating advanced copy or content writing expertise across a variety of marketing media.
  • Interacting with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics.
  • Maintaining high standards of copy or content writing and exercising quality control on all work produced.
  • Participate in client meetings, pitches, and internal presentations.
  • Represent the agency at client meetings and social events as required.
  • Manage and work independently and in teams under tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects.
  • Lead a team of interns and juniors in the development of concepts and the execution of all projects from conception to completion.

 

Job Requirements -


  • 3+ years of experience as a copywriter for B2B / B2C in a marketing agency environment (including experience in mainline copywriting, digital media, and content development)
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences
  • Good at strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development, and creative execution
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle diverse writing demands
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
  • Sound understanding of graphic design and a keen appreciation of the interplay between textual and visual elements
  • Openness to constructive criticism and flexibility with regard to adaptation and modification
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in the FinTech and IT industry is a plus.
