Role Overview:

Content Editor

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and proofread cricket related articles for accuracy, tone, and readability.
• Manage and coordinate multiple writers across different sites and projects.
• Ensure consistency in content quality, formatting, and editorial style.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize articles for search engines.
• Plan daily coverage for cricket news, match previews, and post match analyses.
• Track content deadlines and maintain a high publishing turnaround.
• Provide feedback and training to writers to improve their output.
• Stay updated with current cricket events, leagues, and player developments.
• Use AI content tools to streamline editing and idea generation when needed.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of professional experience in content editing or journalism.
• Strong understanding of cricket (IPL, BBL, CPL, and domestic leagues).
• Excellent command of English with a keen eye for grammar and structure.
• Experience managing teams of writers and handling multiple websites.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).

• Hands on experience with AI content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Writesonic) is a plus.

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Wordpress Dashboard Handson Experience
