Role Overview: We’re looking for a Content Editor who’s passionate about cricket and has strong editing skills with great attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple writers, review large volumes of content, and make sure everything published across our cricket websites is accurate, engaging, and well-written. You’ll lead a team of writers to maintain content quality and consistency while ensuring all articles meet editorial and SEO standards. Key Responsibilities: Edit and proofread cricket related articles for accuracy, tone, and readability. Manage and coordinate multiple writers across different sites and projects. Ensure consistency in content quality, formatting, and editorial style. Collaborate with the SEO team to optimize articles for search engines. Plan daily coverage for cricket news, match previews, and post match analyses. Track content deadlines and maintain a high publishing turnaround. Provide feedback and training to writers to improve their output. Stay updated with current cricket events, leagues, and player developments. Use AI content tools to streamline editing and idea generation when needed. Requirements: 1–2 years of professional experience in content editing or journalism. Strong understanding of cricket (IPL, BBL, CPL, and domestic leagues). Excellent command of English with a keen eye for grammar and structure. Experience managing teams of writers and handling multiple websites. Familiarity with SEO best practices and CMS platforms (WordPress preferred). Hands on experience with AI content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Writesonic) is a plus. Strong time management and organizational skills.
