Job Summary:

Content Editor and Writer

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and proofread content for websites, blogs, social media, press releases, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to develop content strategies aligned with business goals.
• Ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding across all content.
• Conduct research to support content development and ensure factual accuracy.
• Optimize content for SEO and digital engagement.
• Manage content calendars and meet deadlines for publishing schedules.
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in content writing and editing, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
• Excellent command of the English language, grammar, and style.
• Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, and content management systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Portfolio of published work is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with tools like WordPress, Grammarly, SEMrush, or similar.
• Experience in writing for multiple industries or corporate sectors.
• Knowledge of multimedia content creation (video scripts, infographics, etc.).
