Content Developer Digital Resource Library (DRL)

Role Overview: As a Content Developer for the Digital Resource Library at Muskaan-PAEPID, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality multimedia content and Teaching Learning Materials (TLMs) aimed at empowering Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PwIDs) and their families. Your creativity, technical skills, and passion for storytelling will be instrumental in communicating Muskaan's mission and impact effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Create, curate, and edit digital resources such as videos, photos, flashcards, and infographics tailored for PwIDs and their families. - Develop engaging Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs) for the Digital Resource Library in collaboration with subject matter experts. - Design visually appealing layouts and templates for both digital and print resources to ensure accessibility and inclusivity. - Plan and execute video shoots, including scripting, filming, and editing, to capture professional-quality content showcasing training sessions and programs. - Collaborate with trainers, educators, and team members to align content with Muskaan's training methodologies and coordinate with external vendors for specialized content needs. - Review and test content to maintain high standards of accuracy, relevance, and visual appeal while incorporating feedback for continuous improvement. - Contribute to the development and organization of the Digital Resource Library to enhance user engagement and stay updated on industry trends for innovative content formats. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Multimedia Production, Communication, or a related field. Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in content development, multimedia production, or instructional design. - Prior experience in working with PwIDs or in the disability sector is desirable but not mandatory. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in photography, videography, and composition techniques to create impactful content. - Familiarity with photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, etc. - Knowledge of tools for creating interactive flashcards and digital learning resources. - Basic understanding of accessibility standards for digital content. Creative Skills: - Strong storytelling ability to craft engaging and impactful content. - Aesthetic sense to design visually appealing and inclusive materials. Other Skills: - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
