Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AEM Developer/Content Author to join

our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with the latest

versions of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and a deep understanding of its core

functionalities. This role requires a blend of technical development and content

authoring skills to create, manage, and publish high-quality, responsive web pages. The

successful candidate will be responsible for both implementing new features and

ensuring the seamless delivery of content according to client requirements and internal

standards.

Key Responsibilities:

AEM Development & Authoring:

• Serve as a key contributor in developing and authoring content using the latest

AEM 6.5.16 with Maven Archetype 41 projects.

• Create and manage AEM Editable templates and custom page components with

custom dialogs to support various webpage layouts and functionalities.

• Author and publish content efficiently within AEM, utilizing reusable components

and Experience Fragments to streamline the authoring process.

• Work with AEM 6.5 Touch UI to build, edit, and publish different webpages,

ensuring cross-device responsiveness.

• Utilize AEM Sightly (HTL), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to develop and enhance

components.

• Develop custom components using Eclipse IDE with Maven Archetype 41,

leveraging Sling Models for back-end logic.

• Develop Java back-end code within the core module and deploy the core module

bundle to the AEM console.

Content & SEO Management:

• Create new pages based on client requirements using a variety of AEM

templates, such as Insights Content Detail and others.

• Add and manage SEO details (meta titles, descriptions, etc.) and apply relevant

tags to pages to improve search visibility.

• Ensure all content is optimized for various devices, including mobile, tablet, and

desktop, to provide a seamless user experience.

Process & Team Collaboration:

• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to document

authoring instructions, best practices, and guidelines for the team.

• Manage and prioritize client deliverables, ensuring timely completion of projects.

• Provide support to the overall team, offering assistance and guidance on AEM related tasks whenever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Proficiency:

• Proven experience working with AEM 6.5.16 and a strong understanding of its

foundational concepts, including the CRX repository and Apache Sling.

• Hands-on experience with Maven Archetype 41 projects.

• Expertise in creating and configuring editable templates, page components, and

custom dialogs.

• Solid understanding of Experience Fragments and Content Fragments and their

application in streamlining content delivery.

• Proficient in AEM Sightly (HTL), HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Experience with Java back-end development for AEM, including Sling Models,

and the ability to deploy core module bundles.

• Familiarity with the AEM 6.5 Touch UI.

Content & Authoring Tools:

• Extensive experience with a wide range of AEM components, including but not

limited to: Container, Spacer, Gallery, Multimedia, Slider, Image, Hero banner,

Sticky nav, CTA, Text, Title, Section, Buttons, Carousel, Feature card, Accordions,

etc.

• Demonstrated ability to author and publish content efficiently and accurately.

Professional Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation

(SOPs, etc.).

• Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects

and deliverables concurrently.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative to solve

problems
