Job Description

As an Associate Consultant on our SAP Service Desk, you will be at the forefront of combining ground breaking science with leading digital technology platforms and data. This is your chance to define the impossible possible by building partnerships, crafting new ways of working, and driving exponential growth. Accountabilities Provide 1st/2nd line support for technical queries, bug fixes, and small improvements related to CHARM, SOLMAN, and various SAP modules. Troubleshoot and fix SAP L1/L2 application or configuration-related issues. Handle incident, problem, and change management processes. Apply incident management and change management tools. Drive RGB/CAB and Emergency CAB meetings with global collaborators. Ensure smooth team operations and effective teamwork in a 24/7 environment. Lead by example and engage the team to achieve goals. Guarantee optimum performance and stability of critical systems. Take ownership of issues through to resolution or partner concern. Support development activities including code build and deployment, tool configuration management, and application environment setup. Develop specialist knowledge in relevant systems and share it with global teams. Liaise with collaborators globally on potential process improvements. Essential Skills/Experience Good hands-on experience with MS DOC, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to handle report extraction from various tools. Experience working with third-party vendor applications. Excellent communication skills. Desirable Skills/Experience Familiarity with life sciences (Pharma) domain concepts, workflow, and terminology. Mindset to support business-critical applications. Hands-on experience with various applications such as Remedy, ROD, Service Now, Clarity, CHARM, ITSM. Keen to acquire new skills and work on new technology products. Logical mind with keen analytical skills. Clear and concise communicator with excellent written and verbal knowledge. Ability to respond well to pressure. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across team boundaries. Adaptability to new surroundings and conditions.
