Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of MM-related Material Master activities and associated fields.
  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of the SAP MM module within the RISE with SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Execute and support GST compliance configurations and system integrations.
  • Provide hands-on support for SAP operations, issue resolution, and user training across procurement and inventory processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, PP, QM) to ensure seamless system integration and data consistency.
  • Conduct functional testing, validation, and user acceptance for MM solutions during implementation cycles.

System Configuration & Support:

  • Prepare and maintain MM process documentation (AS-IS) and Business Blueprint (BBP) for new plant creation/implementation.
  • Perform MM-related configurations for new plant implementation or modifications to existing setups.
  • Optimize stock management, procurement cycles, and vendor interactions using SAP best practices.
  • Deliver postgo-live support, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in MM functionalities.

RISE with SAP & Cloud Expertise:

  • Demonstrate familiarity with the SAP RISE ecosystem, including system provisioning, upgrades, and lifecycle management in the cloud.
  • Coordinate with BASIS and Infrastructure teams to ensure cloud readiness and optimal system performance.

GST & Compliance:

  • Deep understanding of the Indian GST framework, including input tax credit, reverse charge mechanism, and their procurement implications.
  • Configure GST-specific processes in SAP MM and provide support for audit, filing, and compliance activities.
