Consultant / Resident - Obstetrics and Gynecology (MS OBGYN)

Description

Mediversal Multi Super Specialty Hospital is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate MD - Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) doctor to join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals. As an OB-GYN, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to women, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and related disorders.

Responsibilities

• Women's Health Care: Provide expert medical care to women across all stages of life, including routine gynecological exams, contraceptive counseling, and management of reproductive health issues.
• Obstetric Care: Monitor and manage the health of pregnant women throughout their pregnancy, including prenatal care, performing ultrasounds, managing high-risk pregnancies, and overseeing labor and delivery.
• Gynecological Surgeries: Perform a variety of surgical procedures related to gynecology, including minimally invasive surgeries, hysterectomies, ovarian surgeries, and treatment of gynecological cancers.
• Reproductive Medicine: Offer counseling and treatment for infertility issues, including fertility assessments, fertility-enhancing medications, and assisted reproductive technologies such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
• Diagnose and Treat Gynecological Conditions: Evaluate and manage gynecological conditions and disorders such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and urinary incontinence.
• Contraceptive Management: Provide comprehensive contraceptive counseling, including discussing various birth control options and assisting women in selecting the most suitable method based on their individual needs and preferences.
• Cancer Screening and Prevention: Perform cancer screenings, such as Pap smears and mammograms, and provide counseling on cancer prevention, risk reduction, and early detection.
  

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MS / MD) with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid license to practice medicine and board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proficient knowledge and clinical expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions and obstetric care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Compassion, empathy, and sensitivity in dealing with women's health concerns and reproductive issues.
• Strong surgical skills and experience in performing gynecological surgeries.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest research and advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
