Attending / Associate Consultant - Critical Care

As an Attending / Associate Consultant in our flagship hospital in Eastern India, you will play a crucial role in scaling up our critical care services to achieve new benchmarks in intensive-care outcomes. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day management of medical, surgical, and neuro-critical care beds. You will also be expected to perform and supervise advanced procedures such as invasive ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, bedside ultrasound, CRRT, and ECMO readiness. Leading daily multidisciplinary rounds with surgery, cardiology, anesthesiology, and ED teams will be a key part of your role. You will also be involved in running audit cycles, morbidity-mortality reviews, and clinical research projects to ensure continuous quality improvement. To be eligible for this position, you should hold an MD / DNB in Medicine or Anaesthesia, along with DM / DrNB / FNB in Critical Care or IDCCM / IFCCM. Additionally, a minimum of 12 years of hands-on ICU management experience in a reputable tertiary hospital is required. We are looking for candidates with proven expertise in rapid decision making, crisis resource management, and team coaching. Academic engagement through workshops, publications, or teaching will be an added advantage. You will be working in a fully equipped ICU with 24/7 cath-lab, radiology, and lab services.
