Consultant

we are seeking a driven and skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a surgeon who is passionate about cataract surgery and eager to master the next generation of ophthalmic technology.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage the clinical workflow for our premium cataract patients, from initial consultation and surgical work-up to post-operative care. This is a unique position that combines clinical responsibility with an exceptional, structured opportunity to gain hands-on experience and proficiency in the most advanced surgical techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OPD (Outpatient Department) consultations for cataract and refractive patients.
• Perform detailed patient work-ups, including biometry, topography, and OCT analysis.
• Counsel patients on advanced cataract solutions, including premium Intraocular Lenses (IOLs) such as Toric, EDOF, and Trifocals.
• Perform and assist in premium cataract surgeries, with a clear pathway to operating independently.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous electronic medical records.
• Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics and patient care.

Qualifications and Skills

• Required:

  MS or DNB in Ophthalmology.

• Required:

  Valid registration with the [Specify Medical Council, e.g., Rajasthan Medical Council or MCI/NMC].

• Required:

  Proven experience and proficiency in phacoemulsification surgery.
• Excellent clinical acumen and diagnostic skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with a premium patient demographic.
• A genuine desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
