Consultant Psychologist

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed psychological assessments including clinical interviews, diagnostic evaluations, and psychometric testing.
• Deliver individual, couple, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed therapy).
• Provide specialized therapy for clients with depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, personality disorders, child/adolescent difficulties, and other psychological concerns.
• Maintain accurate case records, progress notes, and treatment plans in line with professional and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, counselors, pediatricians, occupational therapists, and other professionals to ensure holistic client care.
• Offer psychoeducation sessions, workshops, and wellness programs for schools, corporates, and community groups.
• Contribute to training, supervision, and mentoring of psychology interns and junior staff.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines, confidentiality policies, and RCI/licensing standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and stay updated on the latest psychological research and therapeutic methods.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master’s / M.Phil. / Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Applied Psychology from a recognized institution.
• RCI Registration (for Clinical Psychologists) will be given preference.
• Minimum 2–5 years of clinical/therapeutic experience in a mental health or healthcare setting.
• Strong expertise in administering and interpreting psychological assessments.
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, Hypnotherapy, or Trauma-focused therapies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse clients and teams.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Desirable Skills

• Multilingual ability (e.g., English & Malayalam) for better client engagement.
• Experience in online counseling/teletherapy.
• Research and publication background in psychology.
• Interest in community outreach and mental health awareness initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 48 per week
