The Occupational Therapist (OT) will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic programs to help individuals of all ages develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living, learning, and working. The OT will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to promote independence and improve the quality of life for clients. Key Responsibilities: Assess clients’ physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional abilities through standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals tailored to each client’s needs. Provide interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, daily living skills, and participation in school, work, or community activities. Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment, assistive technology, or environmental modifications. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (Special Educators, speech therapists, psychologists, teachers, etc.) for holistic care. Educate families, caregivers, and teachers on strategies to support clients in daily life. Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and treatment records. Stay updated with best practices, research, and continuing professional development in occupational therapy.
