We are Hiring For Reputed Hospital Job Title : Consultant Nephrologist Department : Nephrology Location : Kadappa, Andhra Pradesh Reports To : Head of Department / Medical Director Employment Type : Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Nephrologist to provide specialized medical care in nephrology. The consultant will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, including those requiring dialysis and kidney transplantation. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage acute and chronic renal diseases, including glomerulonephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and acute kidney injury. Manage end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients, including peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis planning. Monitor and evaluate patients on maintenance dialysis; manage complications. Collaborate with transplant teams for pre- and post-kidney transplant patient care. Perform renal biopsies and interpret findings (if applicable). Counsel patients and families regarding disease management, prognosis, and lifestyle modifications. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings for case discussions. Ensure proper documentation, billing, and adherence to hospital policies. Participate in continuing medical education (CME), audits, and research activities. Provide training and mentorship to junior doctors and nursing staff. Qualifications MBBS + MD (Internal Medicine) or DNB (General Medicine) DM (Nephrology) or DNB (Nephrology) – Mandatory Valid medical registration with [State/National Medical Council] Experience Minimum 0–5 years post-DM/DNB Nephrology experience (Freshers with strong academic background may be considered) Key Skills Expertise in dialysis management, CKD/ESRD care, transplant nephrology Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of EMR systems and hospital protocols Preferred Certifications (optional) ACLS/BLS certification Fellowship in Nephrology or Transplant Medicine (desirable) Skills: interpersonal skills,communication,nephrology,decision-making,dialysis management,dnb,ckd care,esrd care,transplant,dm,clinical judgment,emr systems,transplant nephrology,kidney,teamwork Show more Show less
