Consultant FSM

Experience: 5+Years

Role Overview

As a consultant specializing in Field Service Management (FSM), you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing FSM solutions to enhance field operations, improve service delivery, and drive customer satisfaction. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, configure FSM platforms, and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze client requirements and translate them into FSM solution designs and configurations.

  • Implement and customize FSM platforms (such as SAP FSM, ServiceNow FSM, or similar) to meet business objectives.

  • Develop and optimize workflows for scheduling, dispatching, work order management, and mobile field operations.

  • Integrate FSM solutions with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise applications.

  • Conduct user training, workshops, and provide ongoing support to end-users and stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to FSM processes, integrations, and mobile applications.

  • Prepare documentation including functional specifications, technical designs, and user manuals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Stay updated on the latest FSM trends, features, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting FSM solutions.

  • Strong understanding of field service processes, scheduling, dispatch, and work order management.

  • Experience with leading FSM platforms (e.g., SAP FSM, ServiceNow FSM, Oracle Field Service, ClickSoftware).

  • Proficiency in integrating FSM with ERP/CRM systems.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Ability to prepare clear documentation and deliver effective user training.

  • Experience working in cross-functional and client-facing environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Certifications in FSM platforms (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate Field Service Management).

  • Experience with mobile application deployment and support.

  • Exposure to cloud-based FSM solutions and IoT integrations.

Prior consulting experience with leading IT or advisory firms
