Consultant - Consumer & Allied Sectors - 2+ Yrs - Mumbai OR Gurgaon Location: Mumbai & Gurugram The role involves consulting and research in consumer and allied sectors (Retail, FMCG, Textile, Manufacturing). The candidate should have expertise in industry analysis, financial assessments, and strategy development. They must be self-driven, analytical, and capable of delivering data-driven insights to support business decisions while contributing to consulting practice growth. Responsibilities: Sector and Business Analysis: 1. Analyze sector trends, macroeconomic linkages, and demand-supply dynamics. 2. Conduct market assessments, industry reports, and strategic consulting projects. 3. Perform financial feasibility assessments, build financial models, and evaluate viability using key indicators (IRR, NPV, DSCR, ICR, etc.). 4. Gather market intelligence through primary research and industry interactions. 5. Identify growth opportunities, assess competition, and support business expansion strategies. 6. Execute assignments in market assessment, commercial due diligence, and business feasibility analysis. Thought Leadership and Client Engagement: 1. Publish industry articles, deliver client presentations, and participate in conferences. 2. Represent the organization at networking events to showcase expertise. 3. Provide strategic insights on sector developments and emerging trends. 4. Ensure high-quality deliverables while managing internal and external expectations. Requirements: 1. 1-3 years of consulting experience in consumer, manufacturing, technology, or allied sectors. 2. MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification. 3. Expertise in financial modeling, report writing, and business strategy. 4. Strong analytical skills for interpreting financial statements and sector trends. 5. Experience in strategy consulting, market assessments, business planning, and due diligence. 6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects with precision and efficiency. 7. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. 8. Ability to collaborate with teams and engage with senior management.
