About the Role

Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  high-quality backend services

  using

  Python, Django, Django REST Framework, Django Ninja, and FastAPI

  .
• Architect and optimize

  RESTful APIs and microservices

  for high-availability systems.
• Build and manage

  asynchronous task processing

  using

  Celery and RabbitMQ

  .
• Design and optimize

  relational and NoSQL databases

  including

  PostgreSQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB

  .
• Develop and manage

  event-driven and serverless architectures

  using: AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SES, AWS Batch, EC2, S3, ECR
• Implement

  CI/CD pipelines

  , manage source control with Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
• Ensure

  application security, performance tuning, and cost optimization

  .
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders using

  Agile/Scrum

  and

  Jira methodologies

  .
• Conduct

  code reviews, technical documentation

  and mentoring of junior developers
• Lead

  production deployments, monitoring, and incident troubleshooting

Required Technical Skills

• Backend Frameworks: Django, Django REST Framework, Django Ninja, FastAPI
• Programming Language: Python (Strong OOP, async programming, design patterns)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (S3, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, EC2, SQS, SES, Batch, ECR)
• Message Queues & Async Processing: Celery, RabbitMQ
• Version Control & Collaboration: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket
• Project Management & Process: Jira, Agile/Scrum Methodologies
