Job Summary

Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific

  Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  policies and procedures.
• Conduct

  daily safety inspections

  , risk assessments, and hazard identifications at construction sites.
• Ensure all site activities are carried out safely and in compliance with company and statutory standards.
  
• Conduct

  safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions

  for site personnel.
• Investigate and report

  accidents, incidents, and near misses

  , recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain

  safety documentation

  , records, and compliance reports for audits.
• Ensure the proper use and availability of

  Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  .
• Coordinate with

  Project Managers, Engineers, and Subcontractors

  to maintain safety standards.
• Prepare and submit

  weekly and monthly safety performance reports

  to management.
• Promote a strong

  safety culture

  and drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors Degree or Diploma in

  Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)

  or equivalent.

• OSHA Certification

  or

  NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)

  Mandatory.
  
• Minimum

  5 years of experience

  as a Safety Officer in

  construction projects

  (building, infrastructure, or industrial).
• In-depth understanding of

  international HSE standards and local safety regulations

  .
• Strong communication, leadership, and incident-handling skills.
  
• Proficiency in

  MS Office

  and safety reporting tools.
