You are motivated by leading and developing others, with a focus on business growth and ensuring safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solutions based on business needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage all construction aspects of a specific building project from start to finish, ensuring the delivery of a safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solution. - Participate in the development of engagement strategies with designers and contractors to optimize project delivery and cost efficiency. - Collaborate closely with procurement to identify sourcing options and strategies. - Work with Engineering to optimize project methods for design-construct interaction. - Implement Construction Project delivery strategies, methods, and procedures within key competence areas such as project estimate, budget, cost management, procurement strategy, risk management, and health and safety compliance. - Secure new properties are built to optimal lifecycle cost. - Ensure external partners are aware of all Construction frameworks, guidelines, and initiatives. - Manage project budget estimates, time schedules, procurement, contractors, permits, and cost follow-up. - Lead architectural and engineering design in accordance with Ingka standards. - Provide technical and cost input to internal partners. - Co-operate internally and externally to ensure project construction meets safety, quality, time, and budget requirements. - Facilitate hand-over of completed areas for retail build-up and commissioning of building systems. - Support and cooperate in construction projects within the cluster where specific competence is required. **Qualifications Required:** - Academic degree in engineering or equivalent working experience. - Several years of experience in contracting, consulting, or owner's role involving construction projects. - Experience in the retail sector is an advantage. - Knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and construction management. - Proven skills in developing people and providing support, coaching, training, and career direction. - Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English. - Preferable knowledge of Ingka construction standards and investment procedures. *(Note: No additional details of the company were provided in the job description)*,
