Construction Manager - Electrical

As a Senior Manager Electrical Construction, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the electrical construction activities for large-scale solar power projects. Your role will involve managing all aspects of electrical construction to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the electrical construction team for solar power projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and electrical balance of plant (BoP) components. - Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review and optimize electrical designs for constructability and compliance with local codes and standards. - Provide technical guidance and support during the construction phase to resolve design and engineering issues. - Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all electrical installations meet project specifications and industry standards. - Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among all team members and subcontractors. - Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. - Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and compliance obligations are met. - Monitor and report on the progress of electrical construction activities, identifying and addressing any issues or delays promptly. - Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. - Manage and mentor a team of electrical construction professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. - Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. - Experience in electrical construction, a leadership role within the solar energy sector. - Proven track record of managing large-scale solar power projects from inception to completion. Technical Skills: - In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components used in solar power plants. - Familiarity with electrical design software and project management tools. Soft Skills: - Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.,
