Construction Layout Designer / Site Planner

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Layout Designer / Site Planner to join our growing team. This role is responsible for designing the physical layout of construction projects and determining candidate/labour requirements to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and interpret construction layout plans, including site grading, foundation layout, and utilities placement.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design intent into accurate site plans.
• Plan and allocate construction labour and resources based on project needs.
• Ensure layouts comply with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist with scheduling and phasing of construction activities.
• Use CAD and other design software to prepare detailed site plans and blueprints.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in construction layout design, site planning, or related field.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
• Strong understanding of construction practices, codes, and site development.
• Ability to assess manpower needs and assist in candidate planning.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in both commercial and residential construction projects.
• Familiarity with BIM tools is a plus.
• Project coordination or supervisory experience is an advantage.
