Construction Layout Designer / Site Planner

You will be responsible for designing the physical layout of construction projects and determining candidate/labour requirements to ensure smooth project execution. Your key responsibilities will include creating and interpreting construction layout plans, coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers, planning and allocating construction labour and resources, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, assisting with scheduling and phasing of construction activities, and preparing detailed site plans and blueprints using CAD and other design software. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in construction layout design or site planning, proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software, a strong understanding of construction practices, codes, and site development, the ability to assess manpower needs and assist in candidate planning, excellent communication and organizational skills, and ideally hold a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Preferred qualifications include experience in both commercial and residential construction projects, familiarity with BIM tools, and project coordination or supervisory experience.
