1. Knowledge on design of all types of steel connections.
2. Design bolted, welded, and other types of connections for steel members in accordance with project specifications and industry standards (e.g., AISC, ).
3. Ability to perform checks and verify the strength, stiffness, and stability of connections under various loading conditions.
4. Should be able to produce member analysis calculations for dead load & live load.
5. Knowledge on design of all types of steel connections. (Ranging from shear, moment, brace, truss etc.)
6. Able to produce/Check steel connection design calculations.
7. Basic knowledge of Tekla structures and SDS2 software for reviewing the connections.
8. Knowledge of designing moment and braced connections for Seismic loads.
9. Ability to resolve any connection clarifications raised by detailing teams.
10. Should familiar with GIZA Steel and IDEA Statica and RAM Connections
