Connection Design Engineer

As a Structural Engineer at Adept Engineering Solutions Private Limited, you will be responsible for designing various types of steel connections. Your main tasks will include designing bolted, welded, and other types of connections for steel members in compliance with project specifications and relevant industry standards such as AISC and CISC. It will be your role to ensure the strength, stiffness, and stability of connections under different loading conditions. You will also be required to produce member analysis calculations for dead load and live load scenarios. In addition to the above, you should have a solid understanding of designing various types of steel connections including shear, moment, brace, and truss connections. Your ability to produce and check steel connection design calculations will be crucial for the successful completion of projects. Knowledge of Tekla Structures and SDS2 software will be advantageous for reviewing the connections. Experience in designing moment and braced connections for seismic loads will be highly valued in this role. You will also be expected to address any connection clarifications raised by detailing teams effectively. Familiarity with GIZA Steel, IDEA Statica, and RAM Connections will further enhance your capabilities in this position.
