Role Overview: As a Confirmation and Settlement Analyst for US Markets in Pune, India, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end clearing and settlement process. Your role includes ensuring smooth and timely confirmation of EQ and FI trades, market settlement of securities, and cash transfers between the bank and its counterparty. You will support interfaces with various internal and external stakeholders involved in the clearing and settlement process chain, following market standards. Additionally, you will oversee trade date to settlement date processes and post-settlement date processes, such as fails management. Key Responsibilities: - Work with brokers and custodians to settle trades promptly. - Investigate trades for any discrepancies and coordinate with respective teams/brokers for corrections. - Escalate unsettled trades to the Front office based on escalation matrix. - Prepare daily and monthly reports for outstanding trades/breaks in a timely manner. - Create monthly KPI reports. - Ensure team adherence to cut-off times and maintain processing quality as per SLA. - Respond to all queries/first level escalations related to routine activities within pre-specified time frames. - Maintain positive relationships with clients, partner teams, and own team. Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Good communication and interpersonal abilities. - Exposure to Equity and Bonds preferred. - Understanding of Trade life cycle. - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Finance/Investment Banking Operations. - Certification in Investment Banking Operations courses. - Familiarity with platforms like DTC, Custody portals, CTM, Alert, Matching platforms.
