Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer, VP in Pune, India, you will be responsible for managing and performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall IT Platform/Infrastructure. Your role will involve planning and developing engineering solutions to achieve business goals, ensuring reliability and resiliency in solutions, and driving maintainability and reusability. Additionally, you will participate in industry forums to promote innovative technologies in the Bank. You will work as part of a cross-functional agile delivery team, focusing on using the latest technologies and practices to deliver business value through software development. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on engineering lead involved in analysis, design, coding, and release activities - Champion engineering best practices and mentor the team for high performance - Collaborate with Business stakeholders, Tribe lead, Product Owner, and Lead Architect to achieve business outcomes - Acquire functional knowledge of the business capability being digitized/re-engineered - Demonstrate ownership, inspire others, innovative thinking, growth mindset, and foster collaboration for success Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in GCP Services such as Composer, BigQuery, DataProc, and GCP Cloud Architecture - Experience with Big Data Hadoop technologies like Hive, HQL, and HDFS - Strong programming skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL query writing - Familiarity with schedulers like Control-M or similar tools - Good experience in Database engines (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), ETL Pipeline development, and tools like Tableau, Looker for performance tuning - Expertise in architecture design, technical documentation, and mapping business requirements with technology - Understanding of Workflow automation, Agile methodology, Terraform coding, and Project Management is a plus Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank Group encourages a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
