Confirmation & Settlement Operator US Markets, NCT

Role Overview: As a Confirmation and Settlement Operator in US Markets, NCT at Pune, India, you will be accountable for managing the end-to-end clearing and settlement process. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth and timely confirmation of EQ and FI trades, market settlement of securities, and cash transfers between the bank and its counterparty. You will also support interfaces with various internal and external stakeholders involved in the clearing and settlement process chain. Key Responsibilities: - Work with brokers and custodians to settle trades in a timely manner - Investigate trades for any discrepancies and coordinate with respective teams/brokers for necessary corrections - Escalate to the Front office for unsettled trades as per escalation matrix - Prepare daily and monthly reports for outstanding trades/breaks on a timely basis - Prepare monthly KPI and ensure team adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as per SLA - Respond to queries/first level escalations related to routine activities within pre-specified time frames - Maintain a healthy and harmonious relationship with clients, partner teams, and your own team Qualifications Required: - Strong analytical skills - Fluency in Microsoft Office skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Exposure to Equity and Bonds is preferable - Understanding of the Trade life cycle - Bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in Finance/Investment Banking Operations - Certification in Investment Banking Operations courses - Knowledge of platforms like DTC, Custody portals, CTM, Alert, Matching platforms Additional Company Details: Deutsche Bank Group promotes a positive, fair, and inclusive work environment where employees are empowered to excel together every day.
