Company Description Tarsyer Insights is a startup founded in 2021 that uses computer vision to solve problems related to safety and productivity. Our mission is to solve these issues in a efficient manner through the deployment of edge devices that provide detailed answers for manufacturing and retail. Role Description This is an on-site role located in Pune for a Computer Vision developer. As a Computer Vision engineer, you will be responsible for the development and deployment of computer vision models for specific use cases within our solution. You will be part of the team to create, optimize, and evaluate algorithms and models for object detection, classification, segmentation, and tracking tasks. Qualifications - A Bachelor's or Master's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. While we are not picky about degrees, you should have something unique to show from your academic program (a project, a paper, a product or even an idea) - Strong coding skills in Python and familiarity with at least one machine learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow). If you know C++, that is a big bonus - Basic understanding of the methods, concepts, and techniques used in computer vision, such as feature extraction, object detection, segmentation, tracking, and classification. - Experience with OpenCV, image processing, and deep learning architectures. - Ability to work independently, with good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
