Computer Vision Engineer

As an Application Engineer (Prototype Deployment) at our company, you will be a part of the Applications Engineering team, specializing in configuring and enhancing existing robotic solutions for new customer deployments. You will deeply understand the complete computer vision product workflow, integrating AI, software, hardware, mechanical, and firmware components to deliver reliable and scalable solutions with measurable customer impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - Gain a deep understanding of our current computer vision-based inventory scanning applications and workflows. - Support the definition, build, test, validation, and deployment of complete workflows involving hardware, firmware, ML pipelines, software applications, UI, and visual dashboards for new customer deployments. - Troubleshoot, document, and report hardware and software issues during integration and testing phases. - Manage the integration and deployment process for our clients" products and solutions in production environments. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal teams (AI, software, hardware, mechanical, firmware) to ensure successful deployment within committed timelines. - Ability to work with India Team & customers across US Time Zone. - Develop and establish effective facility monitoring and metrics-generation processes tailored to specific customer workflows, transferring these methods clearly to Continuous Improvement (CI) and Data Analytics (DA) teams. - Provide ongoing technical support to field operations teams, ensuring operational reliability. - Research methods to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of current operations. **Qualifications Required:** - Master's degree in Robotics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent relevant experience. - Strong understanding of software-hardware integration. - Solid programming skills in Python and bash scripting within Linux environments. - Experience collaborating effectively with engineering teams. - Very strong inclination to understand end customer pain point, application, solution fit, and metrics that support the same. - Familiarity with machine learning principles and applications. - Passion for AI, Robotics & computer vision. - A meticulous, detail-oriented approach. - Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks across diverse projects and teams. - A proactive, adaptable mindset and the willingness to learn rapidly.
