Computer Teacher

Job Title: Computer Teacher Location: Career Defence School (Residential Campus)/AMBALA Job Type: Full-time, Residential Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate and committed Computer Teacher to join our residential Career Defence School. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical computer education to students from middle to senior secondary levels, aligning with academic and defence-oriented goals. The teacher will also contribute to the overall development of students through residential mentoring and co-curricular involvement. Key Responsibilities: Teach computer science, digital literacy, and basic programming concepts (as per CBSE/State board syllabus or school curriculum). Develop and implement lesson plans that foster academic growth and technological competence. Prepare students for defence and competitive exams that require basic computer knowledge. Conduct assessments, assign projects, and maintain academic records. Use modern teaching tools (like smart boards, simulations, and online resources) to enhance classroom experience. Supervise and support students in the residential setting, including study hours and hostel activities. Coordinate with other teachers to integrate technology into interdisciplinary projects. Ensure discipline, motivation, and active participation of students in both academic and extra-curricular activities. Provide periodic feedback to parents/guardians and participate in PTMs and school functions. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science / IT / B.tech/ M.tech related discipline. B.Ed. (preferred but not mandatory). Prior teaching experience, preferably in a school setting. Familiarity with MS Office, basic programming (e.g., Python, Scratch), and internet tools. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to stay on campus and actively participate in the residential school environment. Preferred Attributes: Experience in defence coaching or mentoring students for NDA/SSB entry exams is a plus. Strong classroom management skills and a disciplined yet student-friendly approach.
