Computer operator(Jewellery Industry)

A jewellery computer operator manages and maintains the accurate input of data into jewellery company systems, such as product details, inventory, sales, and customer information. Key responsibilities include data entry and quality control, generating SKU numbers, managing inventory, generating reports, performing system maintenance, and troubleshooting computer and software issues. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in software like MS Excel and jewellery-specific programs, and the ability to collaborate with other departments. Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry & Management:Accurately input and update information on jewellery items, their specifications (weight, purity, stones), inventory levels, customer details, and sales transactions into the company's database or ERP system.
• Inventory Management:Generate and manage Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) for various jewellery pieces to track inventory efficiently.
• Data Quality:Verify and cross-check data for accuracy and completeness, correcting any discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
• Reporting:Prepare and organize daily, weekly, or monthly reports on inventory, sales, and other relevant data for management.
• System Maintenance & Support:Perform routine maintenance on computer systems, update software, and troubleshoot hardware, software, or network issues.
• Collaboration:Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, logistics) to ensure data consistency and smooth operations.
• Confidentiality:Maintain the security and confidentiality of sensitive business and customer information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel), Gati Software, and other jewellery-specific inventory or order processing software.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and record-keeping is crucial.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues with computer systems and data accuracy.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teams and providing support.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, records, and time effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
