Job Description

A Delivery Associate is responsible for picking up packages and delivering them to customers. They also handle package loading and unloading, maintain records, and provide customer service. Key Responsibilities: Pick-up and Delivery: Collecting packages from sellers and delivering them to designated locations. Route Planning: Planning efficient routes and potentially avoiding traffic. Package Handling: Handling packages with care and ensuring their safe delivery. Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and answering inquiries. Communication: Maintaining regular updates on delivery status and addressing any issues. Record Keeping: Keeping accurate records of deliveries, including dates, times, and any issues. Vehicle Maintenance: Ensuring the delivery vehicle is in good working condition. Safety: Adhering to safety protocols, such as wearing seat belts and driving within speed limits. Additional Duties: Loading and unloading delivery vehicles. Reviewing and verifying invoices and purchase requests. Inspecting delivery vehicles and ensuring the safety of loading/unloading. Contacting customers to confirm delivery details. Determining the placement of merchandise.
