Computer Operator

• System monitoring and operation: Monitor computer systems and networks, responding to error messages and ensuring operations run smoothly.
• Data management: Input and update data into company databases, ensuring accuracy and performing regular backups.
• Technical support: Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical and hardware issues. Escalate more complex problems to the IT team.
• Equipment and software maintenance: Perform light maintenance on equipment, restock supplies like printer cartridges, and ensure software updates and patches are installed.
• Reporting: Generate reports and maintain logs of activities and tasks.
• Coordination: Coordinate with other departments and the IT team to ensure data accuracy and production schedules are on track.
• Security: Ensure the security and confidentiality of data and office records.

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or diploma in a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience as a computer operator or in a similar role.
• Technical skills: Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and software like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Familiarity with data entry and management tools is necessary.
• Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
