GeM Portal Management: Registering the company on the GeM portal and managing user credentials. Updating the company's profile, product/service listings, and ensuring compliance with GeM guidelines. Tender & Bid Management: Searching for relevant government tenders, RFPs, and RFQs on the GeM portal. Preparing and submitting high-quality technical and financial bids within stipulated deadlines. Coordinating with internal teams (e.g., technical, sales, accounts) to gather necessary documents, pricing, and approvals for bids. Attending pre-bid meetings and responding to queries from government buyers. Documentation & Compliance: Ensuring all mandatory documents (PAN, GST, certificates, OEM authorizations) are current and uploaded. Maintaining records of bid documents, correspondence, and reports for audit and compliance purposes. Order Processing & Payment: Managing purchase orders received through the GeM portal. Coordinating with logistics for timely order fulfillment and dispatch. Tracking payment schedules and following up with government buyers for timely payments. Reporting & Analysis: Maintaining MIS reports on tender status, success rates, and upcoming opportunities. Analyzing lost bids to identify gaps and improve future success rates. Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Communicating with government clients and procurement officers to clarify bid requirements and outcomes. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Required Skills & Knowledge GeM Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the GeM portal, its functionalities, and government procurement norms. Bidding & Tendering: Proven experience in preparing and submitting technically and commercially sound bids. Documentation: Ability to handle and manage all required documentation for bidding and compliance. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for liaison with government departments and internal teams. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze tender data and track market trends to optimize bidding strategies. Microsoft Office: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for preparing reports and documents.
