Computer Lab Assistant

Role Description:

• User Assistance: Providing technical support to users with hardware, software, and peripherals, including troubleshooting and resolving problems.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving basic computer hardware and software problems.
• Network Administration: Assisting with basic network tasks, such as troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Security: Monitoring the lab for potential security risks and addressing issues.
• Equipment Inventory: Maintaining accurate records of lab equipment and supplies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining the working order of lab equipment, including troubleshooting, minor repairs, and ensuring proper functioning of printers and scanners.
• Lab Operations: Supervising the use of the lab, enforcing procedures, and ensuring the cleanliness of the lab environment.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for lab procedures, software, and equipment.
• Student Work Study Management: Managing and supervising student work study programs in the lab.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree / Master's Degree in Computers.
• Understanding of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
• 3 years of minimum experience in a similar role.
• MS Office knowledge (Mandatory)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in the education industry preferred.
• Female candidates will be preferred.
