Computer Aided Design Manager

Ashapuri Gold Ornament Ltd., a leading name in premium antique jewellery manufacturing, is looking for a CAD Manager to lead our design-to-manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be an expert in jewellery CAD, with a strong background in antique and temple jewellery designs, and the ability to lead a team of designers from concept to final output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the CAD design team for antique jewellery (necklaces, bangles, rings, earrings).

• Translate design concepts/sketches into accurate 3D CAD models ready for manufacturing.

• Work closely with design, gemstone planning, and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility, precision, and efficiency.

• Develop and implement CAD standards, workflows, and quality checks to maintain highest output quality.

• Guide team on technical aspects: shrinkage, assembly, weight control, stone settings (kundan, jadau, temple jewellery styles).

• Review and approve final CAD models before CAM/printing.

• Train and mentor junior designers, fostering creativity and technical excellence.

• Collaborate with management on new collections, trends, and innovation in antique jewellery.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5–8 years of CAD jewellery design experience, with at least 3 years in antique/temple jewellery.

• Strong command of Matrix / Rhino / JewelCAD / AutoCAD (expert in at least one).

• Proven team management/leadership experience.

• In-depth understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, handwork, stone-setting).

• Eye for detail, design aesthetics, and technical accuracy.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
