Role:
As Wintel System Administrator III, you will be responsible for the upkeep, deployment,
configuration, and maintenance of Windows Servers. Contributes to the planning and
implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and management of
systems and components of virtualized computing environments.
Responsibilities:
- Working Experience on experience on installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Windows Server 2012R2 ~ 2022.
- Working Experience on installation configuration of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy (GP).
- Working Experience on AD User management /access management including role group, permission group, OU management, group policy management.
- Configuring and troubleshooting of Windows based failover clusters.
- Strong exposer on windows server OS, RDP troubleshooting.
- Windows servers security patching for the vulnerabilities detected and troubleshooting if problems encountered before/after the patch installations permission group.
- Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server operating systems across various versions.
- Managing server roles and features (DHCP, DNS, File Services, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Performance tuning and optimizing server configurations for specific workloads.
- Configuring and troubleshooting network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Implementing security measures like firewalls, access controls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Scripting and Automation: Utilizing scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) to automate routine tasks, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency in managing Windows systems.
- Writing scripts for automated user provisioning, system monitoring, log analysis, and
- backup routines.
- Creating comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
- Generating and presenting reports on system performance, security vulnerabilities, and compliance status.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for project planning, implementation, and troubleshooting. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior administrators.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to Windows servers, applications, networking, and hardware. This might involve analyzing logs, utilizing diagnostic tools, and applying solutions.
- Responsible for Windows Servers Infrastructure management for multiple customers.
- Collaboration and Support: Collaborating with other teams or departments to support various projects, providing technical expertise, guidance, and support.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Developing and testing disaster recovery plans to ensure data protection and business continuity in case of system failures or disasters.
- Vendor Management: Collaborating with vendors for product support, troubleshooting, and acquiring necessary resources or services.
- Deep technical problem isolation and resolution capability
- Must maintain the highest level of industry certification and knowledge.
- Ability to architect, build, maintain, and enhance our current managed service offerings and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Relevant technical experience in corporate IT operations in Data Center Environment
- Should have experience working in Windows Servers, Active Directory, Backup, Storage,
- Patching, SCCM.
- Understanding of Cloud and on-prem environment
- Has managed technical teams for specialized area.
- Good Knowledge of ITIL processes and implementation
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Always driving for continuous improvement across domains
- Strong planning and organizing capabilities.
- Ability to work and lead effectively in a team and process-based environment.
- Ability to build team capabilities for upcoming technologies.
- Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.
