Compliance Specialist Investment Management

As a member of the Investment Compliance team at Voya IM, your main responsibility will be to ensure investment policy compliance by checking investment restrictions against funds exposure. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail. You will be responsible for reading fund prospectuses, investment policies, and investment policy statements to extract applicable investment restrictions. Additionally, you will need to understand and amend existing coded rules on the BlackRock Aladdin platform, as well as code new rules with testing to ensure accurate results. Your role will also involve routine review of existing clients" investment guidelines, implementing changes in compliance master, and investigating valid breaches to rule out invalid breaches for accurate delivery. Strong communication skills are essential as you will interact with various parts of the organization and develop efficient working relationships. To be successful in this role, you should have an undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, quantitative analysis, or business administration, along with 5 to 8 years of investment industry experience. Knowledge of Alladin rule coding platform, regulatory rules around 1940 Act and UCITS, asset class hierarchy, exposure calculation methods, and familiarity with platforms like Bloomberg, Aladdin, and PowerBI will be beneficial. Strong skills in Microsoft platforms and PC-based software are expected, as well as organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills. You should be adaptable to work in a challenging environment with varying workloads and strict deadlines. Maintaining strong working relationships with peers, supervisors, project leaders, and internal/external clients is crucial.
