Compliance Officer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive corporate compliance programs and policies
• Lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals, fostering a culture of integrity and ethical behavior
• Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential compliance issues
• Collaborate with senior management to address compliance concerns and implement corrective actions
• Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the organization's operations
• Design and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and external auditors
• Prepare and present compliance reports to the board of directors and executive management
• Oversee the investigation of compliance violations and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions
• Continuously improve compliance processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Company Secretary (ICSI)
• Strong knowledge of corporate compliance regulations and laws
• Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in compliance management software and advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage compliance teams
• In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks and industry standards
