Description
The role aims to provide you with the opportunity to enhance your risk management skills by delivering a wide range of compliance services to businesses and functions. You will be responsible for ensuring the business's adherence to the Compliance risk management framework and providing advisory services to colleagues on regulations related to specific products and services. Utilizing data and analytics will be crucial in proactively monitoring and influencing the business Compliance risk landscape. Moreover, you will be involved in developing Compliance risk insight and understanding, encompassing Laws, Rules and Regulations, Financial Crime, and Conduct. Additionally, training business stakeholders will be part of your responsibilities. As an Analyst, you are expected to carry out assigned activities efficiently and with high standards consistently, driving continuous improvement. Your role will require in-depth technical knowledge and experience in your assigned area of expertise, along with a thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts within that area. You will also be leading and supervising a team, guiding and supporting their professional development, allocating work requirements, and coordinating team resources. For individual contributors, developing technical expertise in your work area and acting as an advisor where necessary will be key. Ensuring that your work and areas of responsibility align with relevant rules, regulations, and codes of conduct is crucial. Furthermore, building an understanding of how your sub-function integrates with the overall function, as well as knowledge of the organization's products, services, and processes, will be important. You will be expected to resolve problems by applying acquired technical experience and precedents, guide and persuade team members, and communicate complex/sensitive information effectively. Acting as a contact point for stakeholders outside your immediate function and building a network of contacts both within and outside the organization will be part of your role.
