Job Description

Job Title: Compliance Executive

Reports to: Senior Executive – Accounts

Location: Mumbai, Chembur (Head Office)

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance:

  • Ensure timely processing and payment of statutory obligations such as PF, ESIC, PT, MLW, and Gratuity.
  • Submit manual returns for POSH, Bonus, S&E, or any other applicable returns as required. Coordinate and process monthly payments for PF and ESIC, including data preparation, liaising with consultants, and ensuring timely payment before due dates.
  • Address staff and labor grievances related to PF & ESIC, including processing PF withdrawals.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with Labor License, BOCW, and ISMW regulations. o Manage BOCW Cess payments and registration of labor under the BOCW Act. o Ensure timely submission of deposit returns for LL & ISMW. o Negotiate and coordinate with consultants for fees and services.
  • Prepare and present monthly compliance documentation to clients, ensuring 100% labor compliance during site audits.
  • Resolve non-compliance (NC) points raised during audits and ensure timely closure.
  • Maintain confidentiality of salary and compliance-related data.
  • Keep accurate records in both paper and electronic formats.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary data.
  • Ability to travel to various locations as required.
  • Generate weekly/monthly compliance audit reports.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounts and compliance-related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance requirements (PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Familiarity with labor law, including BOCW and ISMW regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹28,000.00 per month
