Compliance and Principal Officer-IBU

As a Compliance and Principal Officer at GIFT City IBU, your role is crucial as a Designated Position that must be held by an Approved Individual according to IFSCA regulations. You are required to carry out your duties objectively and independently of operational and business functions, with ultimate responsibility for all compliance matters related to IBU activities. Key Responsibilities: - Set up & monitor robust acquisition workflows, processes & initiatives. - Provide advisory support on IFSCA regulatory compliance to various business units and manage overall Compliance risk in IBU transactions. - Interact with IFSCA Authority, understand regulatory requirements, and disseminate regulations/guidelines/circulars. - Implement Regulatory guidelines and internal policies with respect to IBU. - Coordinate off-site and on-site reviews by IFSCA and auditors for Risk Based Supervision. - Formulate and review Policies/Product Notes/SOP/SLA for IBU. - Establish Compliance Monitoring Plan and review the same. - Assist in walk-through, control testing, and outsourcing reviews. - Draft/vet regulatory correspondences. - Handle KYC/AML compliance as the Principal Officer of IBU. - Monitor business relations for compliance with regulatory guidelines. - Promote compliance of regulatory guidelines and oversee all AML/CFT matters. - Ensure prompt communication of regulatory changes to employees and stakeholders. - React swiftly to any suspected ML/TF matters. - Communicate with Regulators and repository agencies as required. - Implement AML scenarios as per regulatory guidelines and file necessary regulatory reports under PMLA. - Stay informed about RBI & FEMA regulations and understand the evolving regulatory landscape. Qualification Required: - Graduation: Bachelors in Engineering/Technology/Management/Computers/Science. - Post-graduation: MBA/CA. - Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.,
