Compliance AML Execution Analyst 2, Officer

As an Execution Analyst 2 at Citi, your role involves performing risk and compliance reviews within the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team. You will utilize your in-depth AML knowledge to analyze and conduct due diligence on high-risk cases. Your responsibilities include: - Creating KYC Records in the KYC system by sourcing information from various internal and external sources within the agreed deadline. - Interacting proactively with stakeholders to update the system with information until final approval of the KYC Record. - Reviewing information from internal and external sources for company news and validating the information within the record to ensure completeness and accuracy. - Completing records in compliance with local regulatory requirements and Global AML KYC FCB End-to-End Process Procedures. - Performing enhanced due diligence on Senior Public Figures and associated individuals related to Foreign Corresponding Banks. - Taking responsibility for record and documentation completion from initiation to approval. - Maintaining the status tracking tool current and reporting workflow progress or potential escalations to supervisors. - Meeting daily targets for review and completion within agreed Service Level Agreement timeframes. - Updating and monitoring the workflow database regularly throughout the day, highlighting any discrepancies to the Team Lead. - Escalating negative news and high-risk cases to RM/Senior AML Compliance Team. - Ensuring stakeholders receive the expected service within agreed timelines and participating in calls where necessary. - Assisting with the preparation for audits and mentoring New Case Managers or Hires on an ongoing basis. - Acting as the country coordinator, coordinating periodic country calls, liaising with stakeholders, and being the primary contact for KYC-related matters. - Proactively identifying and resolving execution risks and issues, escalating as appropriate. Qualifications required for this role include: - 1-3 years of relevant experience. - Knowledge of AML regulations is preferred. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Demonstrated analytical skills.
